Buildings HD

High-Definition, Ultra-Realistic Autogen Buildings for FSX and P3D

The long-awaited next installment in our HD series is finally here!

An ambitious project three years in the making, Buildings HD now does for buildings what our best-selling TreesHD did for your sim's autogen tree textures.

Buildings HD replaces the default low-resolution, generic autogen building textures with ultra high-resolution 4k, regionally-accurate textures derived from actual photos taken on-location from many countries around the world.  Buzzing the rooftops, approaches over urban areas, and taxiing at airports surrounded with autogen will take on a new depth of realism with textures up to 4 times as detailed compared to default!  Featuring ambient occlusion shadows, realistic night lighting, high-rez roof textures derived from drone photos, and more, we’ve pulled out all the stops to ensure the top-quality realism that you’ve come to expect from our products.

Additionally, FS legend Bill Womack of iBlueYonder lends his 3D modelling skills to completely overhaul the default 3D building library!  Those clunky-looking low-poly default water towers, fast food restaurants with fish on a pole, blurry-looking factories etc have been replaced with brand new beautiful models that are at once highly detailed and highly performance-optimized.  Barns, religious structures, shopping malls, gas stations, and more are redone to blend in with the new textures.
